This process starts with selection of appropriate dramatic text, its analysis and staging in space with the use of all staging means available. By repeating their monodrama performance, students learn more about individual approach to acting.
The course on Film and television cooperation of director and actor provides students with knowledge of acting in film and television. On the basis of individual exercises, students shall acquire fundamental principles of performing in front of television camera.
The aim of course on Preparation and realisation of theatre performance is to prepare and make graduate theatre performance, inviting second grade master’s degree students from the Department of Acting at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. Students will also benefit from professional supervision during building of stage character. Furthermore, students gain experience in theatre (incorporating other theatrical components while preparation: scenography, choreography, costumes, music, sound etc.) and professional acting techniques required for theatre performance production in professional environment.
These competences and knowledge makes up to 78 % of ECTS credits in the framework of both grades of the Master’s Degree program.

The joint result of their work is a performance created in cooperation with students of acting.
Since the aim of the Master's degree is to provide graduate with theoretical knowledge and knowledge of the creation process, the study plan requires students to attend compulsory courses on Theory of Theatre, Performance analysis, Drama-Theatre-Society and Theatre Production and Cultural Policies. Developing of one’s own creativity is synchronic with the cultivation of student's practical skills and abilities. The study plan assumes that the graduate of the two-year Master's program will be fully prepared for practice and thus will be able to consciously differentiate the relationship between work of art, artistic performance and spectators, search for new interpretations and experiment with artistic practices. Through the subject The team preparation of the performance project, the main aspect of the study at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts is strengthened – that is, awareness and application of the collective method of creating the production, and continuous students’ self-reflection of the creative process in Creative theatre seminar.
